MarketingSherpa are out looking for quotes to fill their book of learnings for 2005 - here’s my stab at one that has helped me this year.

Four Simple Steps To Do Well

Online marketing can be as simple or as complex as you or your suppliers want it to be.

I think this funnel of a four short stages reflects some key tasks to work towards achieving online. (The percentages in the second stages are just some raw stats you can use to work on what amount of action you should expect from the traffic that arrives.)

Yes it could have been a matrix, and yes still it could have had 600 words wrapped around it to make it sound more complicated but in this case I think a few simple steps well done are the best way to go.

SPAM Law is Inching Closer

SPAM legislation in NZ is gradually inching its way forward – my pick being that by mid next year we will be underway. I’m not sure if its inclusion will herald the end of the trash that enters my inbox but something is better than nothing.
