Chris, totally agree with you on this - but mine have moved and the plastic has long gone. However, the books are now been used to hold up my PC screen! I am sure this was not the intended purpose either.

One percent for conversion ratios on purchases seems a bit low. Just above 2% is about average (http://www.clickz.com/experts/crm/traffic/article.php/3362641), and some of our customers are seeing 5-6% across the board, and much higher for specific campaigns.

Hey Chris,

Don't feel too bad, I think most bloggers face the same challenge of writing regularly. I feel guilty about not writing enough on mine most of the time. I sure enjoy your stuff though :)

Not bad! Nasty buzz though... Is it not possible to use that excellent microphone you use for audio interviews, for the audio for the video? (That's not very good English, sorry!)

I've had a bit of an attempt at video online, although not using a streaming provider - just the basics for me. I used my Canon Powershot to take the video and Windows Movie Maker to put it together.

It's really important that companies push their ISP's to implement SPF/Sender ID / Domain Key solutions. Unfortunately, we're in the middle of a standards war. We won't be able to get much respite from SPAM until one standard becomes more dominant.

I am a supporter of SPF, and have been promoting to others since early last year. I had the mis-fortune to receive "spoofed" SPAM email from my domain within 2 weeks of registration.!

The sooner we get this sorted out, the faster phishing scams will be a thing of the past.

ps. You should upgrade you wordpress software to version 1.5, which has better comments SPAM protection.

Chris,
ReturnPath has a great article talking about the churn of customers email addresses. The paper is from 2002, but gives some insight into why customers change their email address.
